Asuwey Orere means Life is a Journey.
Life is a journey of Self, into Self,
A journey of Self, to discover Self.
Ask the snail, ask the tortoise,
They move so slow,
Yet, they move so fast to discover Self
When the outside world kicks them
A round leather on the pitch;
They recoil into Self with gravity
To discover their true-Self
Melted in their moist material:
What they are made up of... Ingredients.
You can't be sweeter than your ingredients,
But can be sweeter when you discover a new recipe.

Discovering Self is not an Expedition
Like the likes of Napoleon Bonaparte,
But it's an Inpedition, 
A journey into your-Self,
Around your-Self,
To open every page of your life
With a million questions,
Questioning heaven with the gods-guts of a journalist,
From page to page, reading meaning in-between lines,
Connecting lines into symbols, symbols into figures,
Figures into speeches that bake figurative meaning to you
Of what Self is to you not their Dictionary definition of who you are,
But of who you have perceived, felt skin-deep;
Sometimes, you need to pinch yourself to believe your new-Self you have discovered. 

A journey of Self, into Self
Is to open every chapter with a new idea,
Daring yourself, "how dare you live today
With the ideas of yesterday leaving today's ideas unattended
Like the senior wife in a polygamous family."
A journey of Self, into Self
Is daring yourself to live today with the wisdom of yesterday
Melting the ideas of today into inventions
That makes your life eventful and not a museum of things:
A carcass of yesterday's victory.

A journey of Self, into Self
To discover Self.
Is the journey of an orphan with insufficient transport fare
For the danfo driver's conductor
But the wisdom of contentment
To chew a stone into a fruit,
"Uvonu enuvi, uva gbonu okporlor dor,
Moyi kuwo onya!"
Solves the puzzle that all we need to succeed
In journey of life, in the journey of Self,
Is deposited inside of us, around us.

Don't become Nigeria! Don't become Africa!

MY AFRIMA AWARDS 2019 REVIEW As a #JihadistOfPeace, I love preaching peace with my #gbeduPoetry; communal peace, continental peace and global peace despite religion or race. What attracted me to Afrima Awards is first, the Afrima Awards Music Business Summit that houses African Talents/Creatives in a particular room to discuss African music: The Past, The Present and the Future. I was stunned by the VIPs I met and the in-depth knowledge I harvested. As someone whose mantra is, "If your hand never clap, at least, make your face show!" Indeed, my face showed in that event, I was able to sell myself as 2'WYTH, the #WorldFamous #gbeduPoet and on a continental level, they were introduced to my unique niche, #gbeduPoetry (that Poetry that can make you dance to) and as a #gbeduPoet (that Poet that can make you dance to Poetry).  The next day, after the successful Afrima Awards 2019 Music Business Summit, I left my house without a ticket and no money to buy the Regu

My love for Rivers, Islands and Seaside is uncommon, This is no marine spirit something, it's just love of nature and bliss.
