DEAR FIGHTER, DEAR ANTHONY JOSHUA by #gbeduPoet

Life is a lone journey:
You come alone, you go alone.
Life is an instrument called Accordion:
The coming and the going,
The expansion and the compression
Leaves you with a sound,
The sound is what defines 
The epistle of your journey on earth.

Life is a lone journey:
Life's decision is a yanch,
You either take the left yanch
Or you take the right yanch;
Some just rest in between the yanch,
The path that leads to no-where.

Disclaimer: No one is useless in life!
It takes nothing to be a mediocre,
Just be lazy and don't give a fuck about nothing,
Just live life without dreams and direction:
A floating canoe on a river.

But the day you decide to be a Fighter,
Be ready to fight with both heaven and hell,
Heaven will give you hell,
Hell will give you heaven;
Be ready to fight with Angels and Demons,
Angels will be so demonic,
Demons will be so angelic.
Because your journey no go smooth at all,
If I dey lie, ask Anthony Joshua.

For you to be a Great Fighter,
Think like a Loner, act like a Team.
All your team members have a goal;
A goal of two heads, for and against you.
Because Winning is such a Demonic Deceiver,
Everyone smiles and cheers you,
Even when their heart is tying you 
As a sacrificial lamb about to slaughter.

Dear Fighter, Dear Anthony Joshua,
When you fight, fight for yourself;
When you lose, lose to learn;
When you win, win to be wise.
See beyond the smiles and cheers of the people,
Look forward to the next fight
And remember this Fight Life is a Life Fight
And this Fight Life is a Loner Journey.

Congratulations on your present win.

MY AFRIMA AWARDS 2019 REVIEW As a #JihadistOfPeace, I love preaching peace with my #gbeduPoetry; communal peace, continental peace and global peace despite religion or race. What attracted me to Afrima Awards is first, the Afrima Awards Music Business Summit that houses African Talents/Creatives in a particular room to discuss African music: The Past, The Present and the Future. I was stunned by the VIPs I met and the in-depth knowledge I harvested. As someone whose mantra is, "If your hand never clap, at least, make your face show!" My love for Rivers, Islands and Seaside is uncommon, This is no marine spirit something, it's just love of nature and bliss. Sitting at the balcony of a Seaside Hotel, Romanced by the soft hands of the ocean breeze Is enough massage for the year.
